Back in November we held the grand opening for our new Regina boudoir studio. I’ll admit – when I started planning the event I never imagined that 22 people would show up! Imposter Syndrome is real, y’all.
Anyway. At the grand opening we did a live shoot with this gorgeous model friend of mine, Tara. Tara was a complete champ during our Regina boudoir studio grand opening and modeled for me and everyone else in attendance. I think you’ll agree with me that she absolutely killed it! It’s so strange to me that even as someone who has anxiety that I was able to “tune out” everyone behind me watching and get into the zone for the shoot.
Our actual shoot only lasted maybe about 15 minutes. Once we were done, I uploaded all the images to my computer and quickly put together a slideshow of my quick picks from the shoot to show everyone! I think it was a pretty big hit. 😉
Regina Boudoir Studio
My new studio is located in Regina’s warehouse district in a building that used to be a warehouse! It’s since been converted into loft condos. I’ve gotta say, this area sure is growing on us. Cathedral really stole my heart for the two years we lived there, but I was feeling like a too-big-fish in a too-small-tank in our little basement apartment and it was time for an upgrade! Needless to say when this new home studio popped up on my Facebook feed one evening, I’m really happy we jumped on the opportunity that the universe presented to us.

Do you think that YOU would ever be able to model in front of 22 people watching?! Tara certainly deserves a round of applause for her bravery, don’t you think? 😍
